Supanews Recognised in Queensland Top 10
Supanews Garden City Upper Newsagency has been named as one of the top 10 goCard agents in Queensland. The announcement is part of TransLink’s celebration of the two millionth goCard issued into the community. The achievement was commemorated by an in-store presentation by Phil Reeves MP, the State Member for Mansfield.
Supanews franchise owner Liz Peupelmann said that “it is a great honour to have our efforts in promoting goCard recognised in this way.”
This recognition has been earned by the hard work of franchisees Liz and Marcus Peupelmann, and their team. The Supanews Garden City Upper team are experts in goCard, and are happy to take the time to clearly explain and answer questions about goCard, particularly to older customers and those new to goCard. Factors such as the shop’s convenient location, as well as the quick transaction speed provided by staff, have also contributed to this outstanding achievement.
Supanews Garden City Upper is part of the Supanews newsagency franchise group. Supanews Retail Managing Director Adrian Gaskin said that “this award also demonstrates the strong relationship between the Supanews brand and the goCard product in the Brisbane market. Supanews is a premier vendor of transit tickets in Brisbane, and we are proud to work with our partners TransLink and Cubic to continue to grow the goCard product.”
Supanews is widely regarded as Australia’s leading newsagency retailer and has over 50 shops across Australia. Supanews is currently looking for hard-working and passionate retailers to join the group.
