Franchising

Is Franchising For Me?

Purchasing a Franchise is no guarantee of success.  However, statistics show that franchise businesses have a much higher success rate than independent businesses.

There are several key ingredients that make up a winning recipe:

  • Hard work - Like all customer service businesses, there are great rewards for those who are prepared to put in the hours and the effort.  Sure you'll have staff that'll be responsible for a large part of the workload, but we find that 'hands on' owners make the most successful operators.
  • Following the Recipe for Success - All good franchise systems will have an imposition of controls and rules that you must be prepared to adhere to in order to achieve the best from the franchise.  These controls regulate the quality of service and products offered to the customers throughout the brand.
  • Enthusiasm and Passion - You need to be 100% behind the Supanews brand, and proud to be part of our network.  You'll also need to pass that enthusiasm on to your staff.  Their welfare and productivity will be your responsibility!
  • Start-up capital - Expect to invest between $300,000 - $600,000 to get your store built and your doors open.  This figure will vary depending on the store size and its facilities.
