Royalty
The purpose of the Royalty is to remunerate Supanews, (the Franchisor), for the on-going services we provide to you, such as:
- Ongoing training and support
- Store and professional development
- Access to Supanews-negotiated trading terms and product ranges
- Management of the Supanews system
The Franchise Royalty is set as a percentage of your turnover so that we only benefit as you do. The royalty is 6% charged on general product sales and 1% charged on commission sales (lotto, instant scratch tickets, transport tickets, phonecards).
Marketing Levy
There is a 0.5% Marketing Levy on general sales to promote national brand awareness as well as to fund detailed in-store activities activated across the network. The Marketing Levy is used to promote the franchise network. Promotional activities may include media advertising, website development, promotional offers, the costs of producing Supanews promotional material and the costs of administering the marketing fund.
