Supanews is always on the lookout for new team members. Teaching people newsagencies skills is achievable, teaching someone to have a can do attitude and customer service skills is a little more difficult. So if you love customer service and are not afraid to jump in and give it a go we are looking for you.

Tips for applying
Take your time to fill in the application form. Supanews currently has 40 stores throughout Australia and we receive a lot of applications each day. Please make sure your provide us with accurate contact information and that your select the store you are applying for before you submit your application. Without this information we won't be able to contact you or won't know what store you were applying for. Be sure to provide us with as much information about your experience as possible. If for example you have worked for a clothing retailer we want to know about the skills and knowledge you gained. With so many stores and so many applications submitted everyday it is important to remember that you want to make your application stand out from the rest.
What happens next?
Once we have receive your application and we like what we see our HR team review them and call the potential candidates for the roles we have available. A phone interview will be carried out which usually takes about 15-20 mins, from there a face to face interview will be organised for the successful candidates. If you do not receive a phone call it does not necessarily mean that you have not been considered for the job, as we may not be looking for team members in that particular area. As such, we hold on to all resumes for 6 months after they are submitted and refer to them when we have other roles available.
First job or a little nervous about starting with a new company?
Don’t worry, Supanews prides itself on its comprehensive hands on training. Each new team member will be buddied up with a manager or trainer to help answer all your questions.
