We are continually expanding our business across Australia and many more stores are planned.  We can provide terrific career opportunities to all our team members. In fact, we are focused on recruiting for more senior roles from within.  So the sky is the limit! 
 
 


Areas of employment
We need lots of great people to make Supanews a success.  We need casual and full time team members to work in our stores along with Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers.  Beyond this, we need people to help support stores and assist in the opening of new stores.  Finally we need people at our head office to perform important tasks in the areas of marketing, accounts, human resources, property and administration. 

Our stores are the most important part of our business and we are constantly looking for great people to help make sure that our customers love shopping with us!  A Supanews store is a fast-paced and exciting place to work.   With over 10 million customers served each year, there is always plenty to doSupanews team members need to be very customer focused and must love working as part of a team. 

Team members can either work full time or casual.  Casual team members can roster their hours around their studies and sporting commitments, which makes it a great first job!  Our full time positions are a great place to start a career in retail, because a full time position is the first step on your way to becoming an Assistant Store Manager position, a Store Manager position and beyond!  
 


Training
All team members are given comprehensive training.  New team members start by attending an induction, which introduces them to the team and Supanews' procedures. From there, team members are trained according to their role and responsibilities.

Managerial training is conducted by an experienced Supanews manager and encompasses all areas of the business, including:

 
 
 
  • Stock presentation
  • Staff management
  • Accounts and reconciliation
  • Ordering
  • Inventory
Team members are trained in upselling, product knowledge and customer service. The breadth of knowledge which a Supanews team member gains is invaluable for them in the marketplace.
