What is Supanews?

Supanews is a chain of newsagencies.  We have stores in QLD, NSW, ACT & VIC.  We currently have more than 40 stores and are in the process of expanding.  Supanews currently employees 300 team members. 

Supanews and School Studies

Our flexible rostering system is a huge advantage for younger team members.  Casual team members are given the opportunity to change their availability regularly.  This is ideal for working around studies or extracurricular activities.  Supanews understands that education is the number one priority for young people and the majority of our team is made up of school and university students.  Supanews is a great place for young people to meet new people and make new friends.  

Supanews and Training

Supanews prides itself on its exceptional customer service.  The Supanews training teaches skills such as customer service, time management, communication and teamwork.  We believe that these are terrific life skills.   We also provide opportunities for ongoing training and promotion as we believe strongly in employee development and recruitment from within.   

Rostering and Pay

Rosters are finalised every Friday for the following week.  All team members have until Wednesday afternoon to update their availability for the following week’s roster.  All current rosters are available online via our team member portal.   Team members can also change their availability using the website.  All team members are provided with a 24 hour contact number that they can use if they are unable to make a shift or have any other Supanews related problems. The pay week runs from Monday to Sunday. Pays will be finalised every Monday and deposited into each team members bank account by end of trade Monday.
